As my sequences play some of my tracks cut out 'without being triggered in any way.'
There has to be a few tracks on at once, and the heavier ones seem to cut out the lighter ones.
Is it possible the MPC could be peaking and shut tracks off.

another thing to check is that some samples don't unnecessarily long tails...

i do quite a bit of resampling, and quite often end up with drum hits that have
long bits of silence at the end...

whilst this doesn't affect the track sonically... it still counts as 'voices' to the MPC
which means that lots of things will overlap and thus max out the polyphony.

and maybe convert some files to mono if they contain the same info on both channels
(often the case with lots of drum hits)
