I am trying to put a beat i made onto my computer HELP PLZ!

Hey guys, I just finished a beat, and it is all saved on my MPC. I did it through song mode, and made the entire beat 1 sequence. I want to put the beat onto my computer, but when I plug my MPC 1000 into the USB, the file is "X".SEQ and i can't play it. The file needs to be converted to an .MP3 or .WAV or anything so I can hear it. None of the audio converters that I have found know what .SEQ is. So please help me get the beat form the MPC 1000 onto my computer.

this is not the ideal way of getting finished tracks on your computer but it works.. you can convert your song ( if you have enough ram left) by rerecording your whole song through the main outs

how to do this

yo go to mode record .. and where you see analoug change it to main out , let the song play through and there you go your song is now a wav file

You should just record the audio into your comp from the stereo outs, but that resample way will work also, but sample time will be a conflict.

You can also download Audacity for free and use that... It also converts to MP3 if you need it to.

Did it even ghetto style before I had expanded memory or the right audio interface: Resample a short arrangement like a verse and a chorus. Export it to audicity, and loop it. It's very very limited, but hey...U can at least listen to your own beats from your I-pod
