Getting beats off zip disk and on to 1000??

Long time reader, first time poster.

I've searched on this topic, but haven't found a helpful answer, maybe you guys are TOO advanced!

Anyway, here's my dilemma:

I recently sold my 2000xl (after 5 lovely years) and "upgraded" to a 1000. I kept a few of my 100mb zip disks that had some old beats on them. WELL, I forgot I had sent some beats to a friend for a project two years ago and now he needs the beat tracked out and some sequences changed. How do I get my beats/pgm on the zip disk ONTO my 1000 so I can edit the sequences and track out the beat for him??!?!?!
