no doubt...I coped them when the shipping was $5... now they raised it to 7.50...This is still the best deal on these pads, from AKAI it was $53 plus shipping...

damn, i'd love these but simply can't justify paying that much, that price is rediculous.

As much as I've already spent pimpin' out my 1k, I'm gonna wait this one out. The price is defitnely too steep compared to the pads for the 2kxl and similar models. Plus my pad rubber is still breaking in to where it's more responsive.

Yes, with other mpc's, the pad sheets are bigger, but cost heaps less??? I guess the 1k ones are more because it's more of a niche market sort of thing, but still, they can make more cash by selling more black 1k pads at a cheaper price. Would love to get a hold of some black rec and volume knobs too, as well as q-links. Spread that darkness
