open folder with samples in mpc 1000

hello i have a little question
if i connect my mpc via usb with my computer
i copy a lot of samples, but there is an maximum files i can put on the memory card but there is enough space
so i think that i need to make folders, i know how to make folders etc.
but when i go to my load menu and i go to the folder where the samples are inside i can´t open it.
i didn´t see the samples inside, so i can´t used them

can anybody explain me things about that?

Highlight the folder and use the arrow key pointing to the right to go into a folder, to the left to withdraw.
