MPC 1k & Saffire LE

Hi all,

Have a 2kxl at the moment but have discovered that the SPDIF out doesn't work - have tried 2 different 8 out cards and neither work - SPDIF in works fine. Other people on the 2kxl forum have confirmed the same issue.

So, I'm considering selling the 2kxl and buying a 1k instead but want to make sure the SPDIF out will work with my Focusrite Saffire LE card. Has anyone got any experience with 1k and a Saffire LE?

Don't you have to set up the clock source and/or sample rate on the sound card for that to work?

Yep - tried different sample rates with the guy from Focusrite on the phone and nothing worked. Just keen to make sure I don't have the same problems if I get a 1k.
