Slider Suggestion

how hard do you think it would be to implement a tempo control using 1 of the 2 sliders on the mpc 1000

i sometimes take my mpc1000 out with me DJing, and the tap tempo is hard to keep the mpc locked up overtop,

i was thinking the perfect solution would to be able to have a tempo adjustment on one of the 2 mpc 1000 sliders...

is that possible????

You can't do this with the Q-link sliders on board. It may be possible to have some sort of midi slider or knob box if the MPC's tempo can be altered by midi commands. I am not sure if this will work, but you may want to look into it.

A tempo pitch slider on the qlinks would be great! I think it would be as easy as Akai writing it up for the next OS upgrade. Are you reading this Akai?

yes it would be great to have that feature...but for now, you can use this technique:
- place your cursor on tempo
- use the datawheel

it does the same job.
