we should hit up the forum suggestions thread, tutors quite receptive to our suggestions. Don't know if he would approve of it being called 'The Retard's Playground' though

but for reals got nothing against clowning around cos OTs always had its share of that and its a good place to go for some laughs, but seemed like lately its taken over the whole section and in the process some threads with good value get lost in the mix (no pun)

nah not about that.... just noticed alot of regulars stopped posting here or post less frequently, and more retarded posts have taken their place. could be correlated or just a coincidence who knows. of course what you do in OT is completely up to you thats why its called OT! im just sayin tho....

that's why I cut out the instrumental option out....it enables laziness "why am I gonna try to make this a complete song when I don't have to?"

Some of us only make instrumentals, so personally I would have stipulated that any instrumentals have to hold some interest for 3 minutes, and not just sound like a few loops that need a vocal.

why do y'all dudes think Symphony Sounds was created?....that was so y'all dudes who only do instrumentals to get your shine on...the Mixtape series was invented (I know because me and a couple other heads came up with the whole idea of MPC Forums to have a mixtape) it was to invoke collabs and make things happen that either you wasn't or couldn't do just traveling thru your town...I myself met a lot of good folks thanks to this board and collab'd with them same folks and I wouldn't even know who most of them were if it wasn't for this board and mixtape series

right...but im saying the fact that too many intrumentals were sent in shouldn't be unusual b/c that is what we do at the end of the day

we get down on the MPC and make beats! --I am all for collabs and all that and all that, but a lot of us don't know dudes or whatever ..so when we send in tracks they'll be minus vocals....
