Problem with audio quality loading samples from PC to MPC

I bought it last may, is there a newer os that I should uprage to?

What OS do you have... We need the number..... Not just "Akai", that does not help at all.

If someone told me I need to verify my OS, I would go to the site they mentioned and see what the hoopla is about. I would prob download whatever the current OS is and install it just to make sure I have the current one.

But I would just download JJOS 3.08 it is free. And so much better.... Make sure you backup all you info from the card and the internal HD if you have one b4 installing any new OS. That way you don't accidentally erase anything and not have a backup...

And if you did not ever downlaod an OS chances are you have the one from the card and that one is very outdated.

My bad if my replies weren't that detailed, I guess its cus of my ignorance on the situation. Anyways, my os is 2.0 so I'm gonna go head and download the JJ os and also reformat my CF card just to make sure. I'll do all that tomorrow, I already had waaaayyy too much to deal with today. And THANKS to everyone that tried to help especially Shwell.

Updated my os to jj os 3.8 and formatted my cf card but that didn't resolve the issue. Neither did running a usb cable directly to the mpc. So after trial and error with the settings in audacity I finally got some success. Under preferences go to import/export. Then select use custom mix under When exporting tracks to an audio file. Then when exporting a sample export it through one channel.
