A: i know exactly what you mean. i dont have a mixer either and at first when i started using mpc/reason combo. that was my problem.. but the way i worked around it is.
just do everything on reason. the drums, sounds, everything on reason.
also when you get a motif, you will still need a mixer. so i would go around fixing the mixer issue first
Q:thats why the motif sounds so nice, cuz its not on the computer, its an actual piece of hardware.... you know?
A: yeah, no doubt that the motf is a nice piece of gear, but dont get it in your head that that is what you need to make music. don't get it just cause so and so is using it.
Q:but with that being said, i dont wanna get the motif until im solid on the mpc. i wanna know this thing inside out, so im gonna get the tutorial soon....
A:well.... tell that motif to wait a while
also remember, dont matter what gear you buy. at the end of the day
