so ...one of my buddies is now i guess a "producer"now..haha he just went out and bought a akai xr 20 and a alesis sr 18 right?...well this is a kid that i always jam with he raps so he always comes over i make a beat he raps..well anyway i tell this kid to come over and bring his new toys so we can jam out...long story short he came over and i sampled every good sound off both machines into my mpc within
inutes...he was shocked that i basicaly had both machines now haha..
and for the price he paid for those machines he could found a mpc for sure

What would be the easiest way to sample in the sounds from another sound module? Do you guys just do audio in from the module and record and trim the samples?
