zip drives for pc and formatting question(s)

what is a good and reasonble priced external usb powered zip drive for pc? is there a specific model?

im runnin xp. i remember seeing somewhere about formatting problems when trasnfering samples from pc to mpc. can someone explain it to me? and how i would go about formatting the disks. if i were to have any problems?

A reasonable price would be free. but they run from 150-300 depending on the storage size.
