Dj Mixers

i gotta get a pre amp for my 500 for my turntable to get sampling.. and not off my cd player or comp anymore.

im thinking i should probly get a cheap dj mixer instead cuz its a better deal than just getting a preamp

my question is which dj mixer would you guys recommend for cheapness, but still doing the trick/ships to canada online, whatdup??

another option: buy an older hi-fi amp that has a phono input (that means it has a phono pre amp). this is a really cheap option -- and will give you a good pre amp. way better than in the lower end dj mixers. look for marantz, NAD, harmon kardon.

an old amp mite give u a cool sound and will work fine as long as there is a 'phono' input on the back. if u wanna learn to scratch i would get a mixer and i wouldnt spare any expense.

make sure the amp has an output. a heaphone jack will work but a stereo output will be a lot better

Ummm actually if your starting, your going to kick the crap out of your mixer. Specifically if you are learning to scratch for the first time. I would not spend more than $200 on a mixer (brand New) for this purpose. Once you get good then upgrade to the better mixers.

If your just going to use it for sampling, go with the pre-amp option listed above.. save the money from the mixer for better gear!

or u could get a quality mixer where every fader is replaceable i.e. quality.
or you can ignore experience and waste $200 like so may of us have done before
