Tracking in a M audio interface..

I was wondering if anybody could help me figure out how i could track my beats thru this... into the computer? Like what wires could i use.. and once i get on to the computer would quailty still be the same?

I believe this is a firewire based interface so you'll need a firewire cable if one isnt included in the box.

You'll also need a pair of cables to connect the output from your sound source (MPC?) to the audio interface inputs.

As part of your monitoring chain you'll need a pair of cables to connect the interface to an amplifier or active monitors.

Your equipment will dictate what type of cables you'll need, but it'll be pretty standard fare regardless.

Last but not least, you'll want a midi cable to connect you keyboard to the interface, unless you have a USB keyboard.

Yes i have a midi keyboard....I tried hooking up the interface but when i pressed a key i didnt hear anything so i assume i needed to hook the keyboard via midi and then from the interface into the mpc correct? and i em also assuming i would need rca cables to track in the interface..? sorry i'm doing alot of assuming...just trying to get pointed in the right direction..
