Hi all I'm new to this forum as I don't currently own an MPC but am eager to get my hands on one. I have a very naive question but would like some help, the thing I would like to know is:

Is it possible to run a synthesizer through an mpc's onboard effects in realtime. I have a commodore64 that is out of tune that i currently pitch shift through my laptop to tune it. If I buy an mpc will I be able to do this with that instead, I'm trying to get rid of my laptop from my performance setup and would like a sampler at the same-time.

Thanks alot

A C64 ourt of tune??? How can that be? You should be able to tune it in the c64 itself if the pitch doesnt fit to the rest of your song.

Oh and no, the MPC is not an FX unit. I dont think that this is possible (I know for sure for the 2000/2000XL, 60, 3000. dont know that much bout the JJOS of the 1000 or 2500 thou).
