OK, I had my MPC for some time and now im thinking of using a midikeyboard..

I have MPC 2500 & a simple midikeyboard (esi keycontrol49) + garageband sounds... now... I think i need a mixer?? or sound module? what do i do to make this things hook up?

what I basically want is to use my MPC like it is.. then Add some piano stuff to the beat i make.

is that possible? what are the things that I need? whats the cheapest mixer I could buy that works well with it? what type of mixer?

(I understand the concept of midi.

if your using an interface you could just use your outs to interface in and interface out to monitors and that should handle your garage band sounds and mpc sounds

or

go the mixer route and use your interfaces outs to the mixer channels and mpc to another 2 free mixer channels and then mixer outs to monitor ins and if youd want to use your 8 outs or however many you plan to use plug those in too

unless your midi keyboard is an actual keyboard sound module in which case youd need to plug that in

ultimately youll need a 6 to 16 channel mixer
(i dont think they sell 14 channels but i have no clue now and days)
if you go the mixer route that is
