i have a mpc 1000 jjos 3.09 how can i sample sounds off of my computer? i have been downloading mp3 then converting them to wav. files but i can only input the whole song which takes up too much memory and takes forever is there a way to run the audio out of my cpu/ soundcard into my mpc. i would like to find samples off of youtube and import a 10-20 second clip.thanks alot!!

Why don't you get a wave editor, chop up the mp3 on computer, save those chops to
wav and place those in the mpc?


audio out of my cpu/ soundcard into my mpc.
Yeah, with a "audio cable". Put some work in and figure out what cable
you need.

Maybe recycle has a 5 min limit somewhere in the setttings.

Maybe just import into sound forge instead? You gotta think about things and not let simple stuff
hold you up. If you just can't get anywhere start thinking about other options and put a hold on
your troubleshooting/worrying/upinarms.
