192MB is the max RAM expansion supported, which is what gives you more sample time.

You could put larger RAM board in there but it wouldn't use more than 192MB (it might not even work)

192MB gives you nearly 20 minutes of stereo samples,

hehe I may loose that bet The CF card I know can't give more ram, I thought I seen someone say the max was 2 gigs and I was just confirming I use a 4 gig and a 16 gig with no problem.

Here is another question is there a way to make the unit play the sample off the HDD without loading it into ram? I only had my 5k about 3 weeks now so I am still learning
