Im currently using a downloaded Acid pro 6( yeah im cheap) with my m audio delta 1010. Ive been thinking of buying Pro tools 9 to use with my equipment. Having a hard decision here. Its about using acid that im used to but not that happy with or buy pro tool 9 and learn it from scratch... Should i buy it?

well what is acid not doing that you need for your set up? Maybe there are cheaper or free alternatives that wont set you back a few bills... but will work. Not saying pro tools wont set you up good, but if all you are wanting to do is record you MPC or maybe you just want to sequence a couple of loops and nothing extremely major.... perhaps protools is not worth that extra dough ...
