mpc 1000 not working with profire 610

I have a mpc 1000 that i run to my profire 610 with s-pdif, It has as always worked fine up until recently. I had moved some stuff around and reconnected everything back the way I had it but I can't get any sound from the mpc now. I tried using headphones and I get sound, and I connected the mpc directly to the speakers and I get sound. But when I try and connect the mpc to the profire with s-pdif or audio cables I get no sound. Any ideas why this my be?

Try connecting it again, maybe the cable you thought was in the right place is actually in the wrong cable slot. The 1000 has 2 digital plugs, one goes in and the other is out. Also you might have to reconfigure the settings with the Profire.
