Hi all
I just got some really nice tiny samples.
They are .wav files but i cant load them on my mpc 500.
He says it cant read that format...(wierd because i have some load of .wav files on that thing... ??? )
So is there any program that can convert like 100 tiny samples to another extension?

peace

There are quite a few, some expensive, some free. However, you're going to have to say whether you're using Windows, Mac OSX or Linux for people to be of any help. As for the extension, wav is the correct audio container/extension for a MPC, the files probably just aren't 16 bit 44.1 kHz.

Here's a fairly popular free one that's cross-platform: Audacity. I've never used it though.

Seems to me that a program that does batch processing would probably be the thing to fit your needs.

Don't know if Audacity does that, but if it does, you're good.

I like Sound Forge myself. Excellent for things such as what the op is looking for.
