Cuttin the lenght of sounds

Lets say i have ah lenghty horn loaded in da mpc. Is it possible dat when i tap da pad for the horn dat the sound of the horn stops when i release my finger off da pad! Because i wanna put this horn in...but when i hit da pad it plays longer dan what i want it to play for!..any help would be appreciated!

itz called da note off in params in program mode. u switch poly to note off. and there u go. u can also time stretch it in trim if u got a 2kxl. and then it should be on.

and for the record..how do u timestetch it?..i usually do it in soundforge or adobe.....i know it'll be easier inisde da mpc......and it'll save me a azz of time....!

in TRIM mode. Edit > timestretch
