Get an RME interface and forget what latency even feels like. 32 buffer/3.2ms RTL. it's heavenly.

RME's interfaces are sure nice, If I was to upgrade my current setup I would go RME or motu for sure...but I can get that setting using my current yamaha interfaces(I'll post a screenshot later so you know Im not bsing) plus I been using them for years now

the weird thing is that I could trigger battery using motif and it was just fine but maschine was picking up major latency..

What you mentioned are completely different things. With certain plugin hosts like Live, some plugins can cause latency during playback. Then there's tiggering battery or any other software via MIDI from a controller like you just said which has nothing to do with latency-inducing plugins. I don't experience any of the two types of latencies in Maschine.
