that came with the machine...i can delete em off the ram memory but every time i restart my 1000 they apear again.... and the seqs dont show in the directory.. anyone?

The mpc has to start off with something, it can't just start up with a blank screen... that's why that default appears even if it's not in the memory.

what you have to do is create your own default and save it in a folder called autoload... create a folder called autoload in your hard disk and
anything saved in there will load instead of the default.

I also save the last track I've been working on in that folder so that it loads up as soon as I switch on the machine. once I've finished the track I save it in it's own folder and delete it from the autoload...
