I've got a 4 channel Firewire mixer and an MPC 1000. Instead of buying a bunch of hardware outboard FX, I would like to use some plugs I have using FL Studio, while playing my MPC 1000's 4 assignable outs through my Firewire mixer into FL Studio 10 and use the plugins for reverb, delay, etc. in REALTIME as the Mpc is playing.

So say I have drums on mixout 1, snares on 2, hats on 3 and sample on 4....how would I link those to 4 seperate channels inside FL Studio 10?

(I have gotten the mixer and the sounds playing through FL studio before, but i just cannot seem to get 4 SEPERATE channels linked in realtime. Like..how would i set up my drums to play through mixer channel 1 in fl studio, snares into mixer channel 2 in fl studio, etc. ?)

i've never used fl studio at all,...

but provided you've assigned the tracks to play thru the 4 outs, and youve connected those 4 outs to your firewire,... there must be a way in fl studio to assign track 1 of the mpc to track one of fl studio, etc, etc.

its doable but you're more than likely going to get some latency issues if you use a shitload of fx, unless you've got a pretty fast pc. so not exactly realtime but should be good enough.

i would have a look at fl studio's manual, assigning inputs to fl tracks must be in there somewhere.
