How can I access pdf. files? The site suggests that download an app. to convert the files, but when I check their's no apps available. ???

You need an application that can read .pdf files. Mac OS X will do it through the operating system, but on Windows you'll need either Abobe's PDF Reader or an alternative like Foxit Reader. I recommend Foxit, as it's 1/10th the size of Adobe's bloated app.

Totally free, just be sure to decline any toolbars or other crap the installer asks you to install. (The inclusion of the toolbars is what keeps the app free, but you don't have to take them.)

The book is money well spent, and will accelerate everything. :D

Hi

Thanks for your order today Tyler. I see you're on a Mac - just double click the 'mpc1000-ebook.zip' and it will be decompressed to a folder. Inside the root of that folder, there is a PDF file called 'beatmaking-mpc1000-akai-os-2-13.pdf' - just double click and it will open in Preview. That's all you need to do, no need to install any software in your Mac.

The rest of the files and folders should be transferred to your MPC so you can recreate the tutorials as you read the PDF. More info at
