Acid 8.0 and mpd18

I everyone new here.The problem i been having over the past few days has gotten me to the point to where i want to smash everything up, anyways here my problem first i bought the mpk mini keyboard now it has 6 pads on it and i am able to use these pads with in beatkangz beat machine vst everything is fine,until i decide to get the mpd18 every time i go to use the mpd18 all i get is this "The input device Akai MPD18 could not allocate memory" i have uninstalled Acid 8.0 and installed it again and still get the problem,i have also shut down background programs i do not need and it still gives me a low memory error. Is there something i am missing?

8gigs of ram
2. 2tb hd's
1. 500gig hd
2. 5770's
asrock 870 extreme mobo
diamond extreme sound 7.1 sound card

Have you tried downloading a driver for your mpd18?
Have you tested your MPD with any other programs?

that does sound like a wierd problem though, can your mpd trigger anything in acid at all?

I don't have any other programs to try besides magix music maker and Acid that's all i have. I wanted something to start out with and a friend of mine told me to get Acid cause it was pretty decent for new users and i found out that if i use another vst i don't hear the double drums when using the mpd18 but i would like to use the editor for the mpd18 so i can use the control change unless its not needed I'm still a newb at this since i stopped making music years ago back then,i had some good stuff back in the day but all was lost as soon as my girlfriend and i had our kid. Going to uninstall beatkangz and try the mpd with something else
