Ok,I own a nice laptop PC to which I bought last march I downloaded the reason 6 demo and it works fine (just a small amount of latency on the keys, but otherwise fine)My problem is everybody keeps telling me that I need to use a mac because they say the pc tends to have more problems and I really don't want to have shell out another $1000 and something bucks on a mac if I don't have to,...so I need input from my fellow musical scientists out there...what would you do?? Mac or PC?

Whatever your preference. I currently have Reason 5.0 with update installed on my PC that I custom built myself and pieced together. I have had no issues whatsoever with Reason and my PC which is running Windows 7 64bit. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying, a fanboy, or both. Check your sources.

i would go mac, but thats just me.

imo, if you dont know how to optimize your pc, remove bloatware, get an antivirus that isnt going to take up huge amounts of processing power, and upkeep your pc, youll get sub-par performance, and alot of people dont really know how to upkeep their pc's.

this is i think at least part of the reason why people like macs better.
