MIDI keyboard to play 16 levels

Whatsup guys,

another amateur question. I've got my midi keyboard hooked up to my 1000 but it plays all the sounds from the pads. Can i get it to play only the selected pad sound and that the pad sound is mapped out across my keyboard? I've read something about auto-chrom but i can't seem to find it.

to my knowledge & experience 16 levels cannot be played by external keyboard (pads on mpc only do this) maybe with jjos running an instr pgms.........same with the chord function on jjos pads only

The shift + F5 button only doesn't work on my 1000. I run JJOS 4.99

this is one way of doing it:

1/open new program
2/open program edit and load the same sample on all 16 pads
3/while still in program edit, alter the tuning for the sample,
this is how 16 levels does it, with "original keypad" set to pad8:
pad 1: -00.70
pad 2: -00.60
pad 3: -00.50
pad 4: -00.40
pad 5: -00.30
pad 6: -00.20
pad 7: -00.10
pad 8: -00.00
pad 9: 00.10
pad 10: 00.20
pad 11: 00.30
pad 12: 00.40
pad 13: 00.50
pad 14: 00.60
pad 15: 00.70
pad 16: 00.800
