Ok, I am able to record a certain sound i want when i sample from my record player.. BUT i cant figure out how to save that sound i recorded and get it to play on the pads when im on the main screen of the mpc. I want to make a beat using the sound i recorded.... One of my goals is to be able to do what Havoc does in this link>

it's in the manual. do you have a copy yet? if not you can download it for free from this site or just do a google search. no one is going to help you with THE BASICS. you gotta learn to walk on your own...

Learn how samples are presented in programs, multis, keygroups, tracks and sequences. IF you don't learn ANY of that first, your are failing. Like you are doing right now.

Right out the box, it won't do what you want it to do. It does what it does and you have to make it do what it do
