Not sure if this is zero crossing or not, but when I chop I zoom all the way in and make sure the start point is at the 0 amplitude line between two waves, and that the end point is also at the 0 line between two waves. If the start one is going low to high, I make sure the end point is also low to high. This eliminates the clicks and pops usually but sometimes you have to play with it. I find it especially important with loops or if you're trying to make an 'instrument' with clips of waves and loops.

taiden, thats exactly it.

If you're editing on computer, Audacity (freeware) has a zero crossing feature. just highlight your selection, hit ctrl+z and it automatically finds thezero crossings. It doesnt always find zero with the right sample lengths so you cant expect your loops to match BPM exactly.

Another way to fix the click of nonzero crossing selections might be to use the attack and decay settings(volume and/or filter) to hide the very start and the very end of the sample.
