it would really help to download a manual if it didnt come with it.
the mpc connects to other equipment through MIDI. if you dont know what MIDI is i really suggest reading up about it.
You'll need midi cables first of all. What other equipment do you have? This question is not really specific so i could just spit answers to you all day. what kind of equipment are you connecting your mpc to?
and there's many ways to get your music to your computer. i use cool edit pro. my mpc is connected to a mixer. my mixer is actually connected to my tascam 488 (multi track recorder) then from my tascam output into my computer. and i record into cool edit, but i jumped around a lot and being a beginner you probably have no clue what im talking about so provide a bit more info and people can help you better
