Im a new Mpc Ren user with a couple of questions i hope someone here can help me with.
My method of chopping used to be chopping everything in Adobe audition and timestreached the slices there before importing into Battery 3. Now in AA when timestreaching you can streach according to time (example: 0.755 ms.) So if the first chop was 0.755ms i would streach the rest to 0.755ms so they would match up.
But on the MPC Ren when im trying to timestreach it only says tempo.. And thats a problem when dealing with 1/4 bar chops. Ive been trying out the Patch phrase option aswell but i seem to get artifacts or "holes" in the sample.
My question is how do i go about getting a sample on time? In most old records the drummers aint 100% on time so i would need to timestreach it if im to loop it.
