"Just answer the question or don't. Stop patrolling the site trying to correct people or put them down."
If you are outta order then you are outta order, period.
"If you are going to stand up for something at least represent yourself in a "manly" manner.
What, like "Yeah shut up Bingo(er)!!"?
"Is it just me or are some cats not very bright?"
It might be you.
"I would never back someone being childish."
If you read and understood what I was SAYIN and not what you were thinking you would understand that I was pulling from fact and not being personal.
"Why do you'll have to put down the "newbies".
I put down no one, I just asked you to "lean back". I'd like for someone to have the decency to download the FREE manual and give a GOOD HONEST attempt at learning the gear they purchased before asking me "how do I save" a million times in one day when it's right there in the book. How many times must I answer it?
"And if you look thru the threads he is always putting people down."
That's on him, not me.
"So I guess you researched every machine , software etc. before you asked anyone a question including the guy at the guitar center?"
Nope, never asked a guy in Guitar Center anything. Learned on my own with my ASR10 alone in a barracks room in VA, read the book at least 20 times. I do my own homework.
"The information was correct, but the framing was all wrong."
What do you want me to do?
"Real men do and say real things."
Again, "Yeah shut up Bingo(er)!!"
I have owned a Triton classic and MPCXL for 4 years, now a Triton Extreme. I think I can speak a little on both seeing that I have read the manuals several times and pretty much understand them.
@ Murda-Muzik - Sorry for the delay in answering your ? dog, for your first peice of equipment EVER like you say, I would cop the MPC2kxl. The Triton is a bit much for the first peice of gear, you can bang on the pads and feel the beats alot easier on the mpc. More midi channels that Studio, Easier sequencer, cheaper on the pockets, smaller so it takes up less space, some cons are that it doesn't have internal sounds, 8outs w/digital out and eb16 effects are optional and extra loot. They are worth it though if you plan on doing some midi multitrackin later on in the future with your pc and if you don't have any outboard effects gear. It's all about the pads though, no keyboard I've played with can match the feel of the pads under your fingertips though.
