Hi MPC folk,

Just got a mpc2000 on the cheap with the bad lcd. Should have done my research and saw that this is common and the replacements cost as much as i paid for the mpc in the first place!

But my question is: Now that I got a different mpc (the black one w/ good pads) I want to get something out of my old 2000 and was thinking about parting it out. Just wondered how to go about this?

Also have around 30 good floppys of grimy vinyl samples. Are these worth anything?

Thanks.

Sell it purely as a parts machine or 'spares or repair', much less hassle than selling individual parts. If you have the 8 outputs or the FX card those can be sold separately and may allow you to recoup a large chunk of what you paid for the machine. You can use our hardware for sale forum to put the word out.

The floppy discs are pretty much worthless, throw them in with the sale or give them to someone as a good deed.
