i just bought my mpc today, and its already confusing me, i go to record a drum patter, but when i play it back it dosent play how i recorded it. Any help would be appriciated.

Pay attention to the timing. It shifts things depending on what it's set to.

You can turn the timing off too. It should play back exactly how you played it. This will sometimes make it sound off beat though. But if you got your own timing down, it should be aight.
