MPC + FL Studio?

I have a chance to buy a used red/blue MPC 1000 for $150.

If using it with FPC inside of FL Studio, would I be able to apply 16 level pitch tuning via MIDI, to a sample that was drag & dropped onto an FPC pad?

Would 16 Level velocity & Full Level on the MPC 1000 work via MIDI, in the same situation?

I'd like to think it would, but I'm not sure. If I had the MPC 1000 connected via MIDI interface to FPC/FL Studio..... it wouldn't be any different than the MPD controllers, right?

I've read the MPD controllers have full level & 16 level velocity... but they don't have 16 level pitch tuning like the MPC does.

i connected an mpc 1000 to my sp 303 sampler and i was able to use 16 levels for the sp 303 sounds and sequence it all.

i hoped this would be possible with fpc / fl studio, because i can chop & load samples WAY faster on the PC. but instead of sequencing on the mpc, i would sequence inside fl studio with the 1000 being "just a controller."

i'm thinking.... wouldn't it just be like i was substituting the sp 303, with the samples inside FPC?

i've never used a usb midi interface & fl studio in this manner before, but in my mind... it seems like both versions of 16 levels (velocity & tuning) would work, as well as full level.

I doubt 10 levels tune will work..... the different midi notes on the piano roll are assigned to different drum sounds (with fpc) and tune/pitch i dont believe is a parameter transmitted with midi (unlike velocity and note on/off etc...)

so maybe velocity is possible if the mpc is outputting a single note at specific velocities (instead of variable velocities using the pads) but i doubt tune.
