Beats from a 2k to a 2kxl

simple question,

Okay, I had a 2k and made crazy beats on it and some I didnt finish or really want to re work my drums on some songs I made. I needed some money fast and sold my 2k, now I am ready to get another one but I am thinking I want a 2kxl now,

One time I used my disc that I had midi sequences on from my 2k on my friends 2kxl and it wasnt the same. The sequences were off. Is there a conversion differences.

Basically if I get a 2kxl will I have problems using my disc and loading beats up correctly that I made on the 2k.

It should be the same as long as the file types are the same.To be sure I would to post this in the 2000/2000xl forum for a better reply.
