on an mpc2000. just dont want that sample anymore . how do i delete was on the pad. fre up some room. and was the deal with the overdub button-seems to loop things up. can i stop this? didnt get the manual by the way.
i've tryed discarding it by the way but it seems to do nothing

You should check out the manual, you could have solved this problem in a couple of short minutes on your own.

Go to shift+program and press the pad you want gone and change it to OFF or NONE or someshit where it says sound:


yo anyone... can you copy a pad to another pad? i heard you could do this on the 1000, how about the 2kxl?thanks

crazee good to see ya man. and lampdog learn to read. i said i didnt get the manual but i worked it out its just open new window in trim and delete. it took me all night to work that out.

I have to jump to my mans (Lampdog) defence here....So your saying you dont have a manual?! Is that hows its gonna stay or u gonna get one....FOR FREE! and then read it

If you had taken the time to go to the akai site and download one you could have worked it out in 5 and made a beat or two in the time u spent fiddling with ur MPC blindly and checking back here hoping some1 had answered ur question
