I've had my studio black for around 3 or 4 days now and it has caused me nothing but pain and misery haha
I registered my product on the site and downloaded all the content
Trap drum
Deep kits
MPC V2.8
And for 2 days the 809 and the bank gave me a nightmare.
Somehow the 809 started working. Although the image doesnt appear anywhere onscreen. Just the little drop down menu at the plugin section.im cool with that.
But the bank isn't playing ball at all, everytime I try and download it, the download stops at around 90% with 'running package scripts' or 'waiting on other installations completing' on screen. I then have to force quit the install.
When I go to the files the bank files are there but I cant use them at all in the MPC.
The files are located
Library:application support:akai professional:MPC:The bank
And all the sounds and effects are listed but I cant use them?
Please help, I really like the sound of the MPC and all the gear but at times a seriously regret spending £300 on a fancy doormat....
