Loop Fine Tuning Question???

I have a phrase sample that is 4 words. What I am trying to do is have the 1st word play, the 2nd one stutter(loop quickly) and the last 2 play normally, but what happens is the 2nd word, loops over and over again cuting out the remaining 2. Besides chopping the last 2 off, is there a way to set the amount of times the 2nd word loops and then finish the sample???? in short I want to loop only the middle of a sample for a certain amount of times and then finish the rest.

use the zone edit feature and chop your sample into 3 ..

-the first word (in params=mono)
-the second word (in params=note off)
-the last 2 words (in params=mono)

-assign your second word to turn-off the first word and assign your last 2 words to turn-off your second word (does that make sense?)

get a new track and chop that shiitt up!
