clicking at loop point

2000xl. I sample something in, go to trim and set the loop points so that it's seamless, sweet and crosses over at zero. Then I go to zone and match the loop settings, so that the zone and loop are the same piece of wav. Then I go edit- section new sound. Now the wierd thing is, when I go to that new sound (which is the section of the original I took the loop from), It clicks at the point of looping. Why?

Am I using a dumb method to extract a loopable section, or is there a parameter I'm not setting right when I'm exporting the section to a new sound?

I'd appreciate any wisdom. This is getting me down. Twenty minutes getting the loop just so, and then it clicks. No fun.

why dont you just sample it then truncate it then find the tempo of the sample then just program it in to the sequence.......after that if you want to chop it into peices just zone it out and go from there........I think thats a lil more simple

maybe the click is coming from the start of the sample...

try going to the params screen for the sound and decaying the beginning of the sound a little bit - maybe like 4 or 5??
