Pitch back to original

I'm new to MPC. Let's say I pitch shift a sample, I know I can hit "undo" right after but how do I reset it back to the original pitch later if I forgot how much I pitched it up or down? I'm new to MPC. I use Beatmaker 3 for iPad and it shows you the pitch as a knob and you can just scroll the tune knob to whatever you want whenever you want and it always shows you the tune it's in. I guess on MPC you just process it once and you can't just simply edit the pitch later?

I use mpc x, i use the q-links to change tuning and since it’s a knob it shows me values negative or positive. I don’t change tuning in sample screen.

Oh got you, but you can't do that during "sample edit? mode? Like you can't mess with the tuning like that while chopping up the sample? Only after you're done? Appreciate the help

There's tuning in the sample editor that's non-destructive. I think they moved it to the screen that shows the BPM and the Key. You should be able to set it in the sample editor and have it apply to any programs in that project that use that sample. If you mess up, just go back to sample edit and reset the tuning parameter.
