Studio Monitor Suggestions???? Please help me out yall!

I posted a month ago or so askin for help on studio monitor suggestions for under $200. Well in the past month I got extra funds. Now i need more suggestions. I'm lookin for some studio monitors around $400. I do hip hop beats. I got a MPC2000xl and a ASR-10. Help me out yall. Wut do yall recommend for me? Thanks for all yall help.

I got some dope monitors for pretty cheap at guitar center called "roket 5's" you can get both of them for under well under $400

hoestly if i were u i would take my favorite cd that has been mixed in a pro studio, to the store and listen to what sounds the best in that price range to u. Everyone here has diff tastes and opinions on monitors. When i bought my samson resolv 65a's, i went to sam ash for 2 hours and listened to chronic 2001 on every set in my price range. They hit the nicest for me for the money.

i've seen this question a million times now, and it's just not that simple..... You cannot tell anybody "get this monitor" just like that.

There's now such thing as the best monitor, it depends on the size and acoustics of your room, and your personal preference. Some monitors are more acurate to mix on, but not pleasing to the ear. Some sound great, but are crap to mix on.
A lot of people will tell you the monitor they're using is the best one money can buy, but it's bullshit.
Go to a shop and listen to all the monitors you can afford. Take some cd's you know inside out, and a couple off tracks you're working on, and look out for stuff you hadn't heard before.
Ask the shop if you can take a pair home (you'll pay for them) to test, and see if they work as well in your room as they did in the shop. If not, swap them for a different brand untill you find the right monitor.
