Where is the Mac MPC driver that InMusic SwCenter downloads?

InMusic Software Center>My Hardware>MPC One+ Run Setup>Apps & Drivers tells me that "MPC One+ Driver ... Update Downloaded" but where is it downloaded to? I don't see anything in the InMusic Software Center that offers to install this driver. Nor have I been able to find the installer to run it myself.

I have seen a separate driver file downloadable on the support website, but I'd like to understand how to use the driver that InMusic Software Center has downloaded.

It appears that the way you install the driver that InMusic Software Center tells you that it has downloaded is via the MPC 2 software installer.

Akai support responded with:
"Once you open the installer for MPC 2, you’ll see a prompt asking you to choose a device. At this point, please select the MPC One+ from the list of available options.
After you’ve made your selection, the program will automatically take care of installing all the necessary drivers and files for your device. This process ensures that everything is set up correctly and that your MPC One+ will work seamlessly with the software."

The weird thing is that InMusic Software Center tells me that MPC 2 is install but the driver needs an update and has been downloaded. So what I'm gathering from this is that I need to re-install MPC 2 to get the driver update!? Strange. I've replied to Akai support for clarification.

I have to say the MPC One+ new user experience is chock full of these little mysteries. Error reports about directories not being found, Slice directory complaints, free Expansions that get downloaded without explanation for how to get them onto the MPC One. I have to admit that I didn't know what MPC 2 was when I bought the MPC One+ and delayed installing it, not realizing it was a key part of the MPC One/computer system.

Definitely an opportunity to refine the new user experience.
