timestretching a loop to main tempo?

I'm having a problem trying to match the tempo of a looped sample with the tempo I'm using

is there a way to do this through the zone/trim feature?

thanks for the link........but is there a way for the mpc to calculate the bpm of a loop?

Not sure what mpc ya got but on the 1k you gotta get the bpm just right, it wont detect bpm but you can tap it in as close as possible, then its trial & error with ya bpm till it fits. Make sure you got ya sample on note on & in loop mode also. Oh make sure ya save it ok, made that mistake after messin for ages to get it right only oy have to do it again cos forgot to save!! DOH

Don't know what mpc you got, on mpc1k this works:

(44100 x 60 x 4) / sample endpoint 1 bar loop = bpm

On the 2K you can just use the Tap Tempo.

Have you tried pg 107 xl manual?
