Are there any external flash cards that you guys would suggest for the mpc 1000. Any certain size I should or shouldn't go with? any brands in specfic?

Pike, sorry for the delay in responding.

I would suggest getting Sandisk. That's the only card I use. Not just with the mpc but with anything I use CF cards for. I have never had a problem with Sandisk. As far as size, that's up to you. I have about 4 cards that I use with the mpc. 3 are sandisk and the 4th is the one that came with the mpc. The size range that i have are from 32 - 2gig. the 2 gig is expensive but i got it through my job using their discount.

I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH SANDISK

When I bought my first CF card for my mpc 1000 I got a kingston 128 and hadn't had any problems but for some reason I have been drawn to buying sandisk and now that's all I buy.

I'n my opinion you don't want to go too cheap when shopping for storage media it is after all your beats and samples you store on them no ? 8)

I find the sandisk quite reliable and my 2kxl seems to like it as wel
