Mfc-42

Yo what's good folk? You'll be seeing aka hearing alot from me I just had a few questions about using the Mfc-42 I just ordered one off e-bay and I'm not sure what it does exactly I have a clue ( only because of Propelleheads Reason and its rack mounts) but I wanted to know if some one could post a sample of haw it alters sounds, or an example of a song it was used in or something of that nature. That would be "Lemon Haze" lol but yeah hope to hear from some Ill producers soon.

It filters frequencies in the sound. So you can do a number of things. What I do most of the time is use the low pass filter and turn a riff or something into a bass note. Use 16 levels and play out a bassline.

You can do a lot with it though. Just experiment when you get it and turn the knobs and flip the switches. You'll hear it.

I don't have any examples of my own shit but I'm pretty sure Akai has samples on their site of a sound before and after using the filter.
