DAMn plz someone help me out- deleting internal memory

i've read the manual and cant figure it out for ish.. went to a couple of websites but no one seem to know how to do it...

someone told me to hoop the usb up to the comp and and delete the INTERNAL memory from their,, but its not working.when you connect the usb to the comp it only recognizes the compact flash card and not the internal memory... i go to "utility" and its says "DO:format" at the top and "Device : memory card" and using the data wheel its doesnt change to internal memory...

my bro deleted the internal memory before but i think he did it by mistake cuz he has absolutely no idea on how to do it again..

turn it off....

the machine should erase everything in internal memory each time you turn it off.

go to the search page> type in erasing AND internal AND memory

you'll find your answer, I promise
