you have to get midi cords.hook the plugs into the back of the mpc, the first plug goes into the number 1 of the midi outlet that says midi in. then take the other end of cord and plug that into the triton's midi slot that says midi out. now take the other cord and plug that into the back of the mpc outlet that says midi out: the slot that says a. take the other end of cord and plug that end into the back of triton where it says midi in. now on the mpc go to your main screen. use the cusor key to get to bottom of the screen where you see the word drum. use the data wheel to turn on midi for that track. now from the triton you can use the sounds on the pads on the mpc. you can also play the keyes on the triton to record your sequence for the track on the mpc. if you want to add more to your sequence, go to track 2, turn on the midi on that track. follow the steps above for track one. you have to go to the triton sequence screen to change what you want to play. so on track 1, choose what you want to use. play around with it and see what you can come up with. hope this helped.
